Mike is a freelance artist and illustrator working in both traditional and digital media, who lives in the East of England. Finding himself most at peace in woods and forest, drawn to the sense of mystical adventure man finds in such places, it didn't take long for his art to reflect his urge to wander amongst branch, stone and moss. To wander and explore, to find strange and beautiful creatures. A timeless and mystifying world. Perfect to create art, and for art to further create upon.

With a focus mainly on nature, folklore and spirituality, most of his influences lend perfectly towards his chosen medium of fantasy illustration. Spending most of his time reading books on ancient history, folklore and mythology, which when combined with long walks in nature and feeding more than a little obsession with birds, results in all the inspiration that is needed.

Mike has been an artist as long as he can remember, mastering many different media. In his professional career he has produced many personal commissions, worked with brands, breweries, bands, event organisers and venues. He has painted murals and performed live art shows. Mike has developed artwork for video games and produced print media for the publishing industry.
